Glowpath Apps LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Pawsonality mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our app.
Information We Collect
Quiz Responses: Your personality quiz answers are stored locally on your device to calculate your OCEAN scores and provide breed recommendations. This data never leaves your device.
Purchase Information: If you make in-app purchases, transaction data is handled by Google Play and we only receive confirmation of purchase status.
Advertising Data: Our advertising partners may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized ads. See "Third-Party Services" for details.
How We Use Information
We use information solely to:
- Calculate your personality profile
- Provide breed recommendations
- Remember your quiz history
- Process in-app purchases
- Display advertisements (free version)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Data Storage and Retention
All quiz data and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain servers that store your personal information.
Retention: Your data remains on your device until you choose to delete it. You can clear your quiz history at any time through the app's Settings, or delete all data by uninstalling the app.
Third-Party Services
Our app uses the following third-party services:
Google AdMob: Displays advertisements in the free version. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization. See Google's Privacy Policy for details. Premium users who purchase the ad-free upgrade are not subject to advertising data collection.
Google Play Billing: Processes in-app purchases securely through Google Play.
Your Rights and Choices
You have control over your data and advertising preferences:
- Delete Quiz Data: Use Settings → "Clear Quiz History" or "Reset All Data" within the app to delete your locally stored information.
- Opt Out of Personalized Ads: On your Android device, go to Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization" to limit ad tracking.
- Remove Ads Entirely: Purchase the premium upgrade to remove all advertisements and associated data collection.
- Uninstall: Removing the app deletes all locally stored data.
Children's Privacy
Our app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
